If you come across issues such as errors, closures, or improper functioning of the layer while navigating through your category pages, it could be related to the "serialize state to browser's URL" option. This feature generates a dynamic URL shareable with other users. Usually, third-party modules may be listening for events that interfere with the layer when the serialize URL is active, leading to errors.
To fix this, go to store settings, scroll down to Configuration and disable the "serialize state to browser's URL" and save.
