Search Engine Language

If you need to add a new language to your Store, it is necessary to create a new Search Engine. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Ensure you are located in the correct Store at the top bar.
2. Go to Configuration and click on Search Engines. The list of current Search Engines will be displayed.
3. Click on Create Search Engine.

4. Now, you must fill in all the fields shown in the picture above:
• What kind of data are you going to store? Choose between "Products sold in a store" or "Other types of data".
• How do you want to index your data? Feed URL, via API or use our free sample.
• File Feed: Enter your feed URL or upload the CSV/XML file.
• API: Refer to our API documentation for details.
• Language: The language in use in your store.
• Currency: The currency in use in your store.
5. Then, click "Create Search Engine".

Once created, you'll be redirected to the Indices section to verify the correct indexation of your feed.


6. Now, to change the language and currency of your Search Engine. Go to Configuration > Store Search Engines > click on the 3 dots next to your Search Engine:

You can only select one Search Engine as the default.


7. Then, click on "Edit Setup":


Click on Publish when your Search Engine is ready to diplay in your website.
