Quiz Builder
In this area you are going to set up the questions, messages and forms that your customers will respond to.
You can add an unlimited number of slides. Simply click the “+Add slide” button and choose between the available options: question, form, or message. Your quiz can use one, two, or the three of them, depending on your needs. Let’s dive deep into all of them.
Question
This functionality allows you to add questions to the quiz. Use it to guide customers toward products in your catalog that they might not have considered.
- Questions can have single or multiple-choice answers. Turn on the switch at the right-side of the question if you want to allow multiple choice.
- Add a title to your question and write the first answer.
- Click on “choose products”, a pop-up window will appear. Here, you will be able to see the results added for the answer, under the label “Included results”.
- To finish with the answer, you can move up and down the items so they appear in your desired order.
- Once you have finished choosing products, you have the choice to add an image that represents the answer. Click on the camera icon and upload a picture. Take into account that you can only add jpg, .png, or .gif.
If you haven’t selected a product for your answer, you won’t be able to add additional answers. Make sure to choose products for each answer before trying to advance.
To configure results, click on “+ Add results” to select an option. You can choose individual items by clicking on “Individual items” or select products in bulk by defining parameters under “Rules”. You can use both in the same answer, depending on your business goals.
In “Rules”, you will be able to select among your fields to filter values for the result. Choose your desired value. If you want to add more rules to the same answer, just click on “+Add condition” to generate more filters for that result. Once finished, click on the “Add rule” button at the bottom right of the pop-up.
To edit or erase any of the products, just click on the pencil or trash icon on the right side of the item.
If the picture can be uploaded correctly, a green check mark will appear. If the picture can’t be uploaded correctly, a red cross will appear.
Now, add as many answers to your question as you need. Once finished with the question, add the slides you require by clicking on “+Add slide”. When you select a new slide, the one configured previously will appear folded.
By default, a question slide is added and unfolded. You can either move it or delete it later if you don’t plan on using questions. To delete the question, create another slide.
How Question Sequence and Result Display Work: Example
To display accurate results at the end of the quiz, the Quiz maker follows a logical flow. Once you select an answer, the Quiz maker looks for matching subsets. Here's how it works:
Question 1: Which brand are you looking for?
- Answer 1: Nike
- Answer 2: Adidas
- Answer 3: Calvin Klein
For each answer in Question 1, you'll assign products on “Choose products”:
- Nike products for Answer 1
- Adidas products for Answer 2
- Calvin Klein products for Answer 3
Once you've linked these products, the quiz moves to Question 2, which further refines the results.
Question 2: What product are you looking for?
- Answer 1: T-shirts
- Answer 2: Pants
- Answer 3: Jackets
- Answer 4: Underwear
- Answer 5: Accessories
For each answer in Question 2, assign the appropriate products on “Choose products”:
- T-shirts: Include Nike, Adidas, and Calvin Klein T-shirts
- Pants: Include Nike, Adidas, and Calvin Klein Pants
- Jackets: Include Nike, Adidas, and Calvin Klein Jackets
- Underwear: Include Nike, Adidas, and Calvin Klein Underwear
-
Accessories: Include Nike, Adidas, and Calvin Klein Accessories
If you choose "Accessories" you can add conditions to narrow down results. For example, adding subcategories (hats, socks, and bags) to ensure that only relevant items are displayed, excluding other subcategories, like equipment.
Results - The customer answers:
- Adidas for Question 1
- Underwear and Accessories for Question 2
The results shown to this customer will be:
- All Adidas Underwear
- All Adidas Accessories (limited to the conditions of subcategories you specified).
If the customer selects Calvin Klein but there are no Accessories in your product feed, then only Underwear will appear in Question 2.
With each question, the quiz narrows down the results, displaying the matching products subsets, becoming more precise at every answer!
Form
This functionality allows you to gather leads from your audience before showing the results.
Once a form is created, you will be able to write a title and add up to 9 fields. There are two type of fields, email or custom field. Every field is fully customizable. Select your desired fields, write them, and decide if you want the fields to be required or not by switching on the “Required field” to finish the quiz.
Make sure to add the fields with their corresponding order as they cannot be changed of place.
Just beside the title there is a “Download CSV” button to download the results of the form, you can use this one or the one on the main page under “Form CSV”. You will receive an email with a link to the CSV form with a validity of 6 hours.
Lastly, the Consent to Data Processing checkbox field enables the inclusion of a legal statement, which will appear as a checkbox during the process. You can personalize the message of the legal statement and adapt it to your business requirements.
The Consent to Data Processing checkbox is mandatory on a first form slide, if you create more form slides there is no obligation to enable the checkbox, they will appear disabled by default. If you have only one form and disable the Consent checkbox you won’t be able to save the quiz.
Once finished with the form, add the slides you require by clicking on “+Add slide”. When you select a new slide, the one configured previously will appear folded.
Message
This functionality enables users to add a slide to the quiz that displays a text message. The slide can include a title, a description, or both. Since both fields are optional, you can choose to use either one or none at all. Click on “+ Add slide” and select Message to start writing. Once finished with the form, add the slides you require by clicking on “+Add slide”. When you select a new slide, the one configured previously will appear folded.
After completing the slides, you have the option to re-arrange them by clicking and dragging from the dots located on the left side of the slide.
