What Is Non Stop Service?
Non-Stop Service allows you to configure the automatic purchase of requests Packs for your Search Engine or Recommendation Carousel when your account reaches the requests limit of your subscribed plan. This way, your service won't be stopped once your request limit is reached.
We strongly recommend activating this feature so that Search Engines or Recommendation Carousels remain available for your customers even in the event of unexpected spikes in demand that exceed the limit of your plan. Non-Stop Service will automatically provide the additional requests if needed.
How Can I Activate Non-Stop Service?
When purchasing a product for the first time, you can enable this option during the Usage step (Step 3) of the checkout process. Remember, you can activate or deactivate this feature on a per-product basis.
You can also activate or deactivate the Non-Stop Service at any time on each product box displayed in My Subscription section under Admin Panel > Account > My Subscription. The option will be visible at the right corner of each product as shown in the image below:
How Does Non-Stop Service Work?
Search
If enabled, once you reach your limit, Doofinder will add a request pack to your account to ensure the service remains active. The minimum amount of requests for a request Pack for Search is 10,000.
If you have consumed over 10,000 requests above your limit, the request pack will be increased in steps of 1,000 requests, up to the total amount required. The request limit is checked daily, so if your request pack runs out of queries, another one will be purchased.
The cost of the Pack purchased automatically will be invoiced and charged for the entire amount.
If the Pack added is not totally consumed during the current billing period, it remains active until it runs out of queries.
Recommendations
If enabled, once you reach your limit, Doofinder will add a request pack to your account to ensure the service remains active. The minimum amount of requests for a Pack for Recommendations is 25,000 requests.
If you have consumed over 25,000 requests above your limit, the request pack will be increased in steps of 1,000 requests, up to the total amount required. The request limit is checked daily, so if your request pack runs out of requests, another one will be purchased.
The cost of the Pack purchased automatically will be invoiced and charged for the entire amount.
If the Pack added is not totally consumed during the current billing period, it remains active until it runs out of requests.
How Much Does Non-Stop Service Cost?
The prices of the Packs depend on the type of subscription. The packs are activated immediately, but the charges are billed together on the next renewal date.
This feature is recommended for extraordinary peaks of requests on your site. We recommend you evaluate which is your best option, enable this feature, or upgrade your plan.
