Where is the Indices section?

You can find Indices in your Admin Panel by navigating to: Configuration > Search Engines > Select the Search Engine. Once you select a Search Engine, you’ll be taken to its Indices panel.

Why are my products not showing up in the search results?

Typically, if a product doesn't appear in the search results, it could be due to several reasons: it's not indexed in the feed, the product is out of stock, a customized result is matching the search query, or the data feed wasn't fully read.

How can I change my indexing settings?

To modify your indexing settings navigate to the Indices section in your Admin Panel. Go to your Admin Panel > Configuration > Search Engines > click on a Search Engine > Indices and scroll down to the Configuration section to display the available options.

Can I schedule indexing at a specific time or date?

By default, Doofinder indexes product data on a daily basis when the automatic option is enabled. However, starting with the Pro Plan, you can choose between indexing your feed once a day, periodically, configuring a time interval between indexes or scheduling specific timing. To access these options, go to your Admin Panel > Configuration > Search Engines > click on a Search Engine > Indices > scroll down to Configuration.

How can I delete an index?

To delete an Index, go to Configuration > Search Engines > click on a Search Engine > Indices, choose the index you want to delete, click on the three dotted menu beside the index, and select “Delete”. A pop-up will appear. Follow the steps to delete the Index.

How can I delete a source of an index?

To delete a source, go to Configuration > Search Engines > click on a Search Engine > Indices, click on the trash icon next to the source you want to delete. A pop-up will appear. Follow the steps to delete the source.

Where can I find the error logs?

  1. Go to your Admin Panel > Configuration > Search Engines > click on a Search Engine > Indices, and scroll down to view the logs.
  2. If you see an error message, refer to Indexing Error Messages for possible errors and solutions.
