Integrating Guaranteed Reviews with Doofinder allows you to display verified customer star ratings directly on the product card within your search results. This integration helps customers make more informed purchasing decisions by showcasing product ratings at a glance.

Prerequisites

Before integrating with Doofinder, ensure your website uses the new GRC Widget:

1. Open your browser’s developer console on your website.
2. Check for the message: [GRC] Widgets handler loaded.

If this message does not appear:

• Update your customer reviews module (Guaranteed Reviews/Avis Garantis/Opiniones Contrastadas/etc.) to the latest version.
• Enable the new widgets from your module configuration in the back office.

If you’re unsure whether your site uses the new widgets, contact your regional provider’s support team for assistance.

Configuration Steps in Doofinder

1. Log in to your Doofinder administrator account.
2. Navigate to Admin Panel > Search > Layer Settings > Configuration.
3. Scroll down to Advanced Customization > Product Card Template and click on "Customize".
4. In the product card template, insert the following code snippet at the desired location. Example:

By default, it retrieves ratings using the product ID ‘data-product-id={@item["id"]}’ attribute, which automatically pulls the product ID from your Doofinder search results. The GRC widget matches it against your verified reviews platform data and shows the corresponding star rating on the product thumbnail.

If a product has no reviews, no stars will be displayed for that item.

Now save and test, your template changes. Perform a test search on your website. Verify that star ratings appear on product thumbnails in the search results.
