Is there a limit for the carousels on my plan?
Yes, the maximum number of carousels is 15, and for new ones to be created you must delete others. A warning is shown when approaching or exceeding the limit.
Do I need to create a new carousel in order to change the Logic?
There is no need to create a new carousel in order to use a different Logic, change it directly under the desired carousel.
Why have my Recommendations impressions spiked? Bots and Recommendations
Search engine bots, like Google's, can load recommendations carousels, significantly affecting CTR and CR metrics. To address this, Doofinder has improved metric accuracy by automatically filtering out bot traffic from these metrics, ensuring they reflect only real user behavior.
The following Google and Meta IPs are now filtered:
@google_ip_ranges
- https://developers.google.com/search/apis/ipranges/googlebot.json
- https://developers.google.com/search/apis/ipranges/special-crawlers.json
- https://developers.google.com/search/apis/ipranges/user-triggered-fetchers.json
- https://developers.google.com/search/apis/ipranges/user-triggered-fetchers-google.json
@facebook_ip_ranges
- https://www.facebook.com/peering/geofeed
This filter applies to statistics only, meaning usage impressions remain unchanged. If you want to block these IPs entirely so they don’t count toward your usage, read How to Block IPs. Consider whether to block these IPs, as it may affect your SEO.
How can I see my Recommendations Stats?
The Recommendations Stats in Doofinder show how recommendation widgets perform in terms of visibility, user engagement, and sales impact. You can see how often carousels are displayed, how users interact with them through clicks and CTR, and what revenue or orders result from those interactions by accessing the Admin Panel > Recommendations > Analytics.
See here the Recommendations Stats documentation.
How is the Recommendations Conversion Rate Calculated?
The Conversion Rate tells you how many of the sessions that saw the widget actually ended up buying. It's calculated as: Checkouts ÷ Sessions that saw the widget × 100. See complete info here!
